About Greece

Greece is a town in Monroe County, New York, United States. As of the 2010 United States census, the town had a total population of 96,095. The town motto is "Discover the Promise." The region that the town now occupies was originally settled by the Algonquian and Iroquois Native Americans in the 14th century. The first European to visit the area was the French explorer Rene-Robert Cavelier, who visited in 1669. European settlers began to arrive in the area in the 1790s, and French and British soldiers passed through on multiple occasions during this time period as the two colonial powers struggled to control the region.

About Irondequoit

Irondequoit is a town (and census-designated place) in Monroe County, New York, USA. The Town of Irondequoit was founded in 1839 when it separated from the Town of Brighton. During the last part of the 19th century the north edge of the town was developed as a tourist and vacation area for the City of Rochester residents, and was once known as the "Coney Island of Western New York."

About Webster

Webster is a town in the northeast corner of Monroe County, New York, United States. On July 25, 1837, orator and statesman Daniel Webster spoke to a gathering of Whigs in nearby Rochester about the economy. Whig farmers from North Penfield, who were part of Webster's audience, were so impressed by his eloquence that when they petitioned the state legislature for separate town status from Penfield, they chose to name it in his honor. The population was 42,641 at the 2010 census. The town's motto is "Where Life Is Worth Living." The town contains a village also named Webster.
